Multi-agent orchestration is the practice of running more than one AI agent at once and coordinating them. A goal is decomposed into tasks, tasks are dispatched to separate agent sessions, and progress is tracked centrally — letting agents work in parallel instead of serially.
This is increasingly common as developers run, for example, Claude Code and Codex side by side. Agents UI's Orchestrate mode is built for exactly this: turning a goal into tasks, dispatching them across sessions, and tracking completion on a plan board.
